Stupid Horn

basically went to use the cigarette lighter the other day to charge my phone and when i plugged the thing in it sparked - bad times

and i know the cigarette lighter and horn are on the same circuit so checked the horn and it wasnt working

checked the fuses and they are fine

apart from pulling apart the dash and checking all the wiring is there any other checks i can do and has anyone else had this problem???

double check the fuses, check the first few inches of wire from the lighter and see if its burnt out

If youve just visually checked the fuse try putting a new one in as sometimes they look fine when they are actually gone! :y:

changed the fuses and still not working and traced the wire as far as i can see without taking the dash out - still no luck

Does the lighter still work, maybe just effected the horn.

the lighter has always shorted the circuit since ive had the car but it thought it was just the actual lighter bit and not the holder
