Got this email today first ive heard of them, thought idd share the love:hug:

These tyres are made in South Carolina , USA ....

SEE THROUGH TIRES…a radical new tire design by Michelin.
The next generation of tires.

Yes, those are 'spoke' like connection fins to the inner part of the tire from the outside tread 'wrap!' The next picture shows how odd it looks in motion....

Makes you wonder how the ride feels doesn't it? Well it is fantastic in the extreme!

These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.

The bad news for Police and other law enforcement is that stinger spikes will not work on these.

Just think of the impact on existing technology:
A. no more air valves...
B. no more air compressors at Petrol stations....
C. no more repair kits...
D. no more flat tires...
E. Less expensive and more money in the drivers pocket…

These are actual pictures taken in the South Carolina plant of Michelin.

REPOST!!

They only look like that as they are showing what the inside looks like. They will have a tyre wall on them like a traditional tyre!

cant see them handling too well, even with stiff sidewalls?

They wouldn't exactly release them if they handle completely shit. They will have been tested for normal road usage.

Yeah I realise that lol. However I cant see these being very good performance tyres, what with the profile being epic

Quite interesting this i think, you'd still have to replace the tyre when they're worn down and would they wear down quicker/slower as less pressure behind them without them being filled with air. In the long run, could cost you more to replace them.

Why make something that doesnt really need improving, so what current tyres need AIR get over it!

we'd all have to get smaller alloys though...

Id have them at least i wont have to repumpage the tyres and i could drive on nails....

Bad points;

Some mofo could go and chop all the little walls holing the tyre apart fron the centre....

They look crazy.

I think they are a great idea and could be alot safer as you wont get a blow out.

seen before but just look stupid and just an epically small profile tire rather than anything else...
