hi all just rented this game as i have two days off work, never played it before so whats the most popular online game mode on this game to join? i joined one game mode and it was abit shit and my blue tooth device on and every one was bloody foreign lol im new to online gaming realy hence my lack of knowledge. any help would be great thanx guy's ;)

I have it on xbox and I'd say mercenary TDM is your best bet to get used to the guns and maps. As you level up you unlock more game modes as well, i find domination is quite fun online with randoms.

tdm should unlock pretty soon mate its the most commonly played game mode

Also if you move over it/highlight it it should tell you what level you need to unlock it

all so guy's when my mate played this game on x box you could hear every one talking to each other threw his tv was funny. but when i put mine on and my head set etc nuthing no body seems to have head sets its just like playing against the bloody computer. why is this is it the settings?

this is the head set i got (is it a shit one).......

boot camp team death match until level 8 then team death match!
18 man Ground war is ok but all the other games are turd, half the team just end up playing team death match anyway!

Go to options and turn up voice volume!

Be glad to be in Bootcamp, it is a good way of getting used to the game. After that you really get thrown into the deep end with the WOW whores.

Plus when I played there was no Merc TDM which meant playing against teams of people and getting dicked.

I cannot remember if there is kill cams on WOW but if there is see what guns and perks people use to kill you and learn that way.

Deep Impact and Steady Aim can be good for SMGs, Thompson iirc.

well that a pretty decent head set mate so wudnot blame that wat to do is next time its on and you think u cant hear anyone look at there names there shud be like a little speaker evertime someone spks!:y:also you dont wana spk to just randoms as there are alot of dicks lol more fun for usein with mates imo!

I think less people in general use headsets on PSN (PlayStation Network). Look for the little volume icons next to people's names. You have to pair your headset with your PS3 which can be done in the settings.

I use a playstation eye, a lot of folk do, it's both a camera and mic and is pretty cheap.

Just remember to turn the volume down as it's quite sensitive

yep, boot camp is the place to start, then move on to team deathmatch maybe, but my fave games are sabotage and search and destroy

It's getting very hard to get a game these days when a friend is in your party! I got 3 mexicans into a game easy for hours the other night but when my mate from 5 miles up the road wants to join I can't get him in.

i didn't end up playing the game that much because i work to many hours :( so couldn't actually get quality time on c.o.d so every time i did go on line i got killed strate away and then id spawn back to life and get shot strate away again lol pluss every time i went online id set my head set up all excited to have a bit of banter and all i'd get is foreigners mumbling what ever language so couldn't chat with any one :( can see it being a good game if you got plenty of time on your hands which i don't these days! :y:
