did they tell you in the shop, if you have another contract, its your problem to cancel it and pay for it to be ended, i got told wheni got my new contract it would all be sorted, and i ended up getting letters wanting money from me.

Yup

I had this with my phone. W910i

It keeps freezing and orange wont want to repair it

I said right we'll end the contract (As the manager of Ornage cba to ring me up either to discuss my requirements)

They said you have to pay the end of your contract to end the contract. :panic: £300 od pounds.

Now, i use another old phone, but with that sim card in.

LOL clearly everyone who thinks HTC are rubbish dont know much about phones. Put it this way if its got windows mobile on it its got summat to with HTC. They are one of the biggest phone makers about. They are brilliant phones. All of the o2 xda phones are made by HTC unless they say otherwise. Do some research. Check out xda-developers.com

hahahahahahaha!!!! HTC will blow most other manufacturers out of the water when it comes to reliability!!! They have been making pda type phones for about 15 years now. Remember the Orange SPV and O2 branded phones? All made by HTC

I have a Touch HD and it's the best phone I've ever had or ever seen for that matter. No competition (until O2 release the Apple iPhone HD)

that phone looks dog turd, sorry just my opinion...

i do really like the htc touch hd, i got the i-phone over it but mainly due to the fact that the shops where being arses and didn't seem to want to give me a decent deal...

only orange had one, and then their tarrifs changed and i had to pay for the phone so got the i-phone 3g...

is there really more apps to download than apple? there is a hell of a lot of apps tbh....

and not just the legitimate ones, plenty more when jaibroken...

Its all about popularity for people who don't know much. How many people bum the iPhone? It aint that great (especially for what shops want for it...), many better phones out there for loads less but people see "iPhone" and automatically think they must be the best available. Don't know that much about the HTC phones to be honest, but I know there is many more phones available that are miles better than the iPhone but people don't want them as "They're not cool enough" etc.

Shoulda got a better deal mate. I went looking for a new phone at the weekend looking for an iPhone and then looked at the HTC and ended up coming away with a BlackBerry 8900 Curve.
Got the deal down from £45 quid a month to £30 quid a month with 1200 mins, 500 texts, unlimited browsing and free landline calls. Plus 50 quid for old phone. You should have haggled with them mate!

My phone is the only thing apple these days. Im all windows baby.

I just support WM at work and used to have an HTC and never got on withit. iPhone user interface is much better. Granted ive only played on a few other touch screens but none have impressed me.

My dad infact has a HTC, and his whole work uses them. They are returning them for a new Blackberry because everyone hates them and finds them useless for what they need.

Just saying what I heard. You may call them reliable but my dad is on like his 3rd, and a large company doesn't like the use of them.

Blackberries tend to be the industry standard for business use - better email and ping facilities, better calendar scheduling and sync features with outlook etc

I dont have anything against iphone i think they are good but 75% of apps are just pointless and o2 and apple just think they can rip off people because of the name. Which apparently they can the contracts are terrible

Are you serious? Really? Have you never noticed BMW or Audi prices are a lot higher than Ford's and Vauxhalls because of the name.

A Nissan GTR can probably beat a Ferrari at a race, but at half a price. And why is that half the price for the same power...

True not exactly the same with bmw and audi because they have better build quality and looks than vauxhalls and fords, and i would go for a gtr over a ferrari probably not if money wasnt an issue though

Or perhaps because BMW and AUDIs reputation was built on quality, and fords and vauxhalls being cheap card for the masses?

A nissan GTR is faster yeah? But is it as refined, built in such a personal way, have the same heritage etc etc....;)

Interesting, Ive never had any issues with vodaphone in about 7 years, neither have anyone I know.

3 on the other hand, changed my service agreement and didnt notify me and were utter tards.
