it was pissing it down,but then it went to that really light drizzle....hence why i wasnt pushing it due to there beeing LOTS of big drops....

i go there a lot tbh,just never withy camera
I used a gorillapod,and molested the gorilla pod around the passenger chair,took the headrest off.the gorrilapod supports itseld really well TBH

loverly looking road i dont recognise it never been down there, its always a pleasure traveling from phwhelli to bangor for the night and then back at past 12 at night, did it in a stupid time the once roads were clear at about 4 in the morning and nice and dry id just come from a kroozing meet made it bck to phwhelli drove right up to abersoch main beach to watch the sun rise was fantastic drank a crate of redbull that weekend out with daffs,stu etc,some loverly driving roads id put a vid up of round bala/llangginogg(spelling) the mountains etc...in my corsa b from years ago but id get an ear bashing for it. lol
one thing i like with you welsh lads you know how to drive not like the pussys this way 1/4 mile in a straight line, its all about the lanes. ive always loved the lynn rallys that take place id love to enter one of the years. coming from the midlands to north wales this years going to take the piss in the saxo its too low for fast lane driving that road you went down in that video i couldnt do 30mph in my saxo down there itd bounce all over the road thats the only downside its ace for down here but up there its useless on the nice welsh roads.

If that yaris driver didn't say thanks for reversing all the way back to the cattlegrid he/she would deserve a slap tbh.
Single lane roads are usually nice, wales is always a nice drive purely due to the countryside surrounding the lanes, you don't need to be doing 60mph to enjoy them neither.
You drove well and steady around the lanes and didnt go flying around the bends in the wet, I know plenty of idiots that would have floored it at every oppurtunity, well done buddy :y:

Nice road, but kinda pointless in a car. You cant get any speed up due to the fact its narrow and blind and you could be met by that landrover coming the other way. Like you said, its unsafe to go anything other than steady.
Much better roads for fun driving. Not trying to argue or anything this is just imo:y:

me and a few mates are planning on going there agan soon,park a car at either end of the road and pus it a bit more ;)

good plan actually,or early morning say 5/6 when there's some light so i can see the bottom of the valley when i go off the edge :D

That was such an incredible area loving the view must be so quiet out there lol :homme: sketchy road, i hav a few dodgy country roads but nothing compared to that

the lyn rally all takes place on similar sort of roads like that and its all perfectly legal, they can get done for speeding bu i think the best they can hits 60mph because of all the narrow roads and bends. i chased a 106 rallye years back in my astra 1.4 that was part of it i was with him for all of 30 seconds lol.
