Hi,

I'm new to the forum and wondered if you guys could give me some advice. I have just bought a VTR and need to sort out the sound system. I have already got a Pioneer Headunit and an Infinity basslink sub ready to go in but I want to replace the JBL Coaxials that are in the front with some Comps. The back speakers are not linked up but don't thuink i will bother anyway!

I know there are already lots of posts about front speakers but I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation for a set of Comps running off the headunit (i know it's not the best but on a tight budget). I'm thinking it would be pointless buying around the £200 unless using an amp so wondered if anyone had tried the infinity refernece series straight of the headunit or anything else anyone could recommend for around 100-120 pounds.

Thanks in advance

i recommend just going to halfords or any audio shop and just pressing buttons next to the speakers till you find the ones you think sound the best there are some nice vibe ones out at the mo

Cheers for that. Have listened to the infinity's at halfords and they sounded pretty good. They seemed about the best but the choice was quite limited at my local store. Think I will probably go for those when I have the cash, just wanted to double check, you know what it's like. Thanks for the advice smileys/smiley4.gif
