Hi, I've got the back 3 windows tinted which i have had done professionally. I want to do the front 2 myself. I understand about the law and how anoying the air boubles can be but im still guna give it ago myself. Any tips aswell would be great :) So can anyone tell me where i can get some black tint film that is within the law regulations that i can fit myself?

Its to 30% of the light has so shine through isnt it? so there is a slight tint that you can add.

when i went ot gte my windows tinted professional, he said he cant do front as any tint in the fornt windows is now illegal

Actually after watching it again he says standard glass normaly lets 78% of the light through. So its only a 8% tint. No point really is there? lol

i had my two front windows fully tinted for a year an never got pulled or anythin.......good old cheshire police!

no, 70% of the light has to shine through. and the tint can only block 30% of light.

mat i had my audi done in a back street place no names had the all windows in limo tint can not see tho and my very front window with a 50%see tho drove it around for like a yeah the day beor i sold it on come the blues lol i was lucky just put it that way

front tints have to let 70% of light through

mine let 30.5% through = £30 penalty notice haha

lad i know had to rip his out at the road side or they were gonna impound his car as they only let in 64% light.. harsh but it's the law.

to be honest, by the sounds of it, i dont think it is worth getting the front windows tinted if it has to let in 70% and a normal front window lets in roughly 22%......
