Well ive starting doing my own brushing and whilst i was messing about on PS i came up with a idea of HID's so i thought id create a guide. Ive still got it saved as a PSD file so it can be easy edited if anybody spots any mistakes.

yeh its a very good guide mate, could have been a little bigger pics, so we can actually see what you have clicked on insted of just saying in writing if you get me ?

real nice guide john, easy and simple! and i've been tryiong to work out how to have different coloured lights ( golf comp chop ;) ) lol

your way is a fab effect
both look great but realy depends on the people doing there own chop if you get me

You could just remove the actual lensing effect aswell, get out soft brush and lower the opacity of the eraser.
There are many ways u can add light, something as simple as adding a coloured blob then copying it a few times and adding different gausian blur effects to it ^_^

I made my own 35mm prime lens flare but that's piss to take off.
