DIY gone wrong

Tried connecting up some LED lights today to my cigarette lighter and failed EPIC. Going to have to take it to garage to get repaired anyone know how much it will roughly cost to get 3 wires reconnected to my cigarette lighter and get the footwell lights repaired..

Footwell lights :wacko: Do you have neons in the footwells? I dont really know how much a garage would charge. Probs not alot atall, you could do it yourself. Im no sparky but its not to hard buddy :)

I tried doing it myself but I had enough trouble fucking it up the first time. I thought I would give it ago as alot of people on here said its easy but it aint my kinda thing. Dont wanna mess it up even more and risk blowing something would rather just pay and get the job done right seeing as im still learning about doing all these mods.

Yeh thats fair enuff bud. I got a mate to do mine, but my mate kicked one when geting in and broke it and i broke the other one lol. The ones i had were really really brittle!

ive done mine. get led's
mine work off the headlight feed on the headunit.
looks the bollocks!

get a soldering iron out and give it a bash.. or just wrap the wires back round each other with a bit of electrical tape job done

Yeah thats what I wanted but could not find how to do them. I literally took my car apart havig ago to do this.
