Someone tried to break in to my car last night, they didnt manage to get in. But the lock has a rectangular dent on it and there is a slight dent around the lock. Its not too bad and the lock still works, im just really angry about this.
Going to have to get an alarm fitted.

The thing that gets me is there was nothing left in the car, so they couldnt have stole anything

It doesn't look that bad considering some other poor buggers on this very site have the bloody doors bent open

i do this, alarm on, but unlocked

they open the door, alarm goes off, they run off

no damage

Seriously?
I wouldn't be able to sit back in my seat after knowing some scruffy little cunt's been sat in there forcing my headunit out with his tracky bottoms and nike air max's on with some cig ends in his pocket.

Lock it, alarm it, own a gun.

That's what happens when you have such an attractive car like your avatar mate.

the whole point of leaving it unlocked with the alarm is to avoid the damage cause by people bending the door / making holes in it

as soon as the alarm goes off they panic and run off

the alternative is to leave it locked, let them bend your door then they run off when the hear the alarm

i have nothing to steal in my car anyway

lol haha good 1

Ste-88

Still, I'd rather leave it locked and let it get smashed up or burned out...

... at least that way I know I'll have a rental car for a day or two, squeek-free driving while the peice of french dog shit gets fixed.

Both times my car was broke into, they caused more damage than the things they stole. Now I just can't be assed untill I get a decent alarm fitted when I can afford it.

The second time when they broke in and did the same method as tried on the thread starters door, they looked around made a mess inside and just left they left my pasty in the glovebox and my kinder beuno aswel LOL
