I'm taking my girlfriend to a health spa for her birthday... I have got to choose which treatment to book both of us in for (mainly her though, I'm not too bothered).

Do I book her in for: -

Back, neck & sholder massage
Mini facial
Indian head massage
Salt Scrub
Shape & polish (nails)

We'll be using the sauna steam and jacuzzi afterwards.

Cheers Peeps!

Chris :)

Being a therapist, i'd go for the mini facial or the back, neck and shoulder, these are most popular by far.. where are you going Chris? x

We're going to the Manor House Hotel near Reading.

I can pay for extra treatments, but I'm gonna leave that up to her when we get there.

I was thinking that the B, N & S massage would probably be the best one.

Not too sure what a salt scrub is TBH.

Will do mate..... somehow I've gotta try and pack an overnight bag for the both of us without her knowing...... I think the best way of doing it is to go and buy duplicates of all her toiletries, so she doesn't suss anything out, then just chuck in some clean undies and something nice for the meal in the evening.

Definitely a good plan. Small sized ones or something. You can use them as well.

Link me up this place Chris, I wanna see!

A Salt Scrub is a Full Body Exfoliation.. aha.. now you know! Pretty shit actually, only about 15 minutes worth of treatment, but your skin does feel nice afterwards.

I swear they did those Devere Venues for something Stupid like a £10 a night for us at some point!

I would try getting you discount, but you've booked it through some Spa place haven't you?

Are you having a Treatment?

Ps. £75 for the massage.. which is wayy wayy too expensive.. for 55minutes too!

Nope... I booked it through Laura on reception at the Mansion House Hotel.... I just used that Spa Break Website to get information about it cause the De Vere website is rubbish, just goes on about the corporate meeting rooms etc.

Yes, we get one treatment each, a evening meal, breakfast and full use of the other health spa facilities, i.e. Sauna Steam and Jacuzzi.

That is pretty expensive isn't it.

Are you doing this for her or for yourself.

Chris
15th May 2009, 09:49
I'm doing it for her birthday.... but I am also going to be doing it to incorporate me asking her to marry me...... so in a way I suppose I am doing it for myself just slightly.

Why's that?

Chris :)
