bare in mind the rings are almost impossible to see at daytime. did you have like 2 loose red and black wires on the back of each healight? cause you need to bullet connector those onto the sidelight wiring, like this:

i dont think there are any wires behind it anyway it just has a normal sidelight like your normal headlights have if you look closely between the 2 big main circles in the headlight there is a small black hole and thats where the side light bulb goes and you dont get these on proper angels cus obv the rings replace your sidelights dont they?

yeah they do replace the sidelights, but even on mine which are definatley 100% real angel eyes, you still have an area to put the original side light back in.you have the original side light and the halo's on mk1's iirc, and on mk2's the original sidelight, halo's and an LED. but you can chose what combination you wire up....so just halos, or halos and original sidelight, halos and LED, LED and original sidelight etc etc

yea no one will notice its just the fact of thinking i had led rings around my lights when i didnt lol not a massive deal but i like the look of the halos i think im just gonna sell them and buy some 100% real angel lights but black ones, i like them just cus they just make the front of the car more modern the standard headlights are just a bit dull and dated for my liking but each to there own :y:

dude im pretty sure i have the same angels, they're made by sonar. have a look close up on the front it will say the brand name next to the E marking.
at the back of each angel you should have the 3 pin headlight plug and then some extra black/red wires. the black/red ones are power/earth for the halo LED's.
are you saying you don't have those black/red wires?

no i dont have the wires at all it is litterally just a shitty reflector around the headlights and also on my original headlights there is a connector to plug in the electronic headlight adjustment and these dont have them either you have to adjust them manually so not only do i not have the halo rings ive also got an electrical connector on each side which dont go anywhere cus i dont have the socket on the headlights to plug them in im just gonna take them off and buy some real black ones
Mine aint fake asin the halos light up, but they have plastic fucking wankstain bollocks fronts that have cracked.
Came with the car so was just a case of waiting for them to crack.

Well mate theres nothing to stop you sending em back if they aint the real thing
If they are described as 'angel eyes' you expect em to be the same as every other angel eye on the market
If they dont do the full job or are replicas then it should be clearly stated and if he hasn't done so you are entitled to a full refund

this really isnt the best photo mate just one i took when i had my angels apart to upgrade the halo rings to super-bright 45000mcd LED's
http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/4913/sdc10151.jpg
iirc the black/wires come out of the bottom of the headlight (not the back like the 3 pin socket) and are held in place by the black rubber grommets you can see in the pic.

no mate, you have to cut off the original sidelight connector and join the sidelight wires to the red/black ones coming off the angels. i used a 5 Amp Strip Connector like this to tidy things up :y:
