It looks great! I've been meaning to do the same to mine.. thinking of going for a silver theme or something :)
how do you get the centre panel + fan blowers off?

cost me 18 euros altogether from halfords :D
one can of paint and one can of primer and still have loads left
the center unit is actually easy to get out
were the hazord light button is /de-mister for the back window there is a screw behind the last two of those little buttons on each end pop them off and take out the screws
another screw at the very bottom of the center unit itself quiet hard to notice and another beneath the radio
take off the little sliders wich controll hot and cold air they just pull straight out then pop off the controller for it with a screwdriver :D
the covers for the air blowers are easy as hell just pop straight out they wont brake no screw or nothing in them
a quick rub of sand paper not too hard as it will scratch then primer them two coats of paint and a small bit of lacquer

Looks cool, always like the interior colour of a car to match its exterior...unless you get nice leather seats of course! then tan leather looks good with most!...in my opinion
