Hi just wanting some advice just decided to mod the car and want to strip the back out and put a cage in but don't want to weld it cause I will Need to put the seats back in now and again

i think but people can correct me if im wrong because im not an expert but i think the only thing you can go for is a show cage which as it says are only there for show and its held in place by about 6 bolts and these can be added with your rear seats still in place omp, sparco etc do a bolt in cage but its the whole cage not just the rear part and it still involves drilling in to your body work and making up special brackets i think so thats out the question cus thats very hard to get in and out your car

just spoke to the insurance company and i'm not allowed to strip the rear out so guess it's a show cage

really i cant believe that they say you cant do it??? my first insurance company would only let me have wheels 1 inch bigger than standard but i had 13" steels and i wanted to fit 15" zetec s alloys but i still did it thats ridiculous that i was only aloud 14" wheels lol oh and i wasnt aload low profile tyres
