Hi guys...

My car is sounding bit rough ATM when accelerating i hear like a lite rattling noise coming from the bottom of the car.. sounds like the exhaust but the exhaust is new.. and all fitted properly.... the car has done some miles 117000 but it pulls and runs perfect.. so im trying to sort these little problems out so i can keep it alive for a year before i get another SAXO!!

What's the age of your car mate? And does it have a cat. in the manifold?

Hey, its 1997 ive just got a new cat for it.. and rear silencer... no holes ... but the car still sounds like its rough still tho.. hard to explain the noise but it sounds like a big ass tank drinking loads of petrol when i put the foot down lol

check for any exhaust gases leaking around the lambda sensor, its in the manifold down pipe, mine broke there, simple weld it was sorted, this would make an awful racket
