Guy in another thread is getting one for a first car (Furio) and he said he is paying £700 FC. I'm 20, and pay just under £700.

Just got a West Coast for my 1st car find it really quite nippy tbh much faster than my mates 1.2punot, 1.25 fiesta, just a tad slower than my mates 106 1.3 8v rallye.
I am 18 0ncb 6months driving experience 1 fault claim highest risk post code and i pay £1255 TPFT with myself as main driver and my sis as a named driver and shes 19 1year 8months driving experience 0ncb

if you are the owner of the car mate and it says so on the V5 then you must be the main driver on the insurance policy. If you put your dad as the main driver and you're just an added driver then you can get done for fronting

Paying 2k for my furio...

I find it pretty fast but ive never driven a 1.1 so dont really know.

For me, furio's / westcoast are nice if you have the money. Cant really get a vts (unless you have ££££) but they look pretty much the same.

Got a quote for a supra though and could get insured for 5k ;)

Don't be a sheep mate. Your policy is null and void if you crash. Tough luck mate, i had to pay £1700 tpft on my 1st car, nothing that can be done

well you have to mate, we've all had to do it. You have a crash and you're fucked, no money can be paid out for you and you'll be looking at a fairly large ban

My mate on his mums policy for a fiest 1.3 is paying £1200 FC :S somehow thats with swiftcover

My mate with a 1.2 Punto is paying just under £1000 on his mums, no excess and FC

I dread to think what it would be on their own :wacko:

ouch when my brother had lernt it was on my dads policy and it cost around £400 but then when i quoted it myself on direct line it would cost £1450 on my own:wall:
