Changed brakes but the hose sticks out a little? what to do?

Basically whacked some berlingo brakes on the sax but the hose that goes into the berlingo caliper doesn't go all the way in, it sticks out ever so slightly so its not a flush fit, what to do?

Do i need braided brake lines to fit?
should i just really tighten it up?
maybe its cross threaded try again? (tried it a few times thinking it was this)
Saxo brake lines dont fit the berlingo calipers?

answer on a postcard thanks...

You need to take the pipe off at the small union on the chassis at the end of the rubber part of the hose where it joins to the solid pipe through a bracket, undo this (11mm) let the pipe untwist to it's original shape, do it back up and re-bleed your brakes, i've done a few of these conversions now, this always happens due to the threads on the pipes and the calipers

lol ok, looking at the brakes with the wheels off (obviously) the rubber flexi hose that comes out of the caliper goes into a bracket on the chassis, on the other side of the bracket is a soild brake pipe, you can see all this from the wheel arch, on the soild pipe there is a union 11mm nut, undo this completely, wiggle the rubber hose and pull the rubber hose out of the bracket, let the pipe untwist and put it back up into the bracket and then do up the union, then re-bleed the brakes

ok i get ya so undo the pipe so its free then basically do it up on the caliper...but what if it still doesn't fit flush can this be sorted?

have you done the berlingo conversion?

lol right, do it up on the caliper, then do what i said in the last post, this will straighten the hose out, yea i've done both the berlingo and gti-6 conversions, both times the pipes got twisted, its the only way to sort it mate and it aint hard to do just a little hard to explain, takes all of 2 minutes to do

tried it mate good idea and all but it sill doesn't sit flush....hmm do i need differnt hoses?

i used my gti lines on mine they are 266 ones yeah

did they sit in flush and not poke out at all at the top im gonna have to get a picture for this really....

i'm midway doin a brake upgrade on my mk1, i'll take pics for ya n post them, you don't need to change the brake lines at all mate, the all fit, that's the beauty of citroen's, it's pretty much same parts on all cars, the pipes won't sit completely flush but that's cos they need to be able to move and flex when you steer, as i sed, i'll do mine n post pics tomorrow for you mate
