Help with my audio remote lead!

iv just bought a sub and amp, iv wired everything in but its not turning on. i think it is the remote lead the little blue one where to i plug it into the back of head unit but which colour wire i link it to? anyone got a picture? Also do i plug my main power to the battery in front of car or into the fuse box bit?

wire the remote lead from the amp into the ignition which is the red wire on the headunit

lol myns plugged into the blue 1 which works when i turn on the lights i noticed as i went out tonight. so its the red 1 ye? thanks is that the onli red 1 or is there lots of red 1s? cherz

the blue and white one is the remote wire but if it isnt working you can just wire the it into the ignition so the amp turns on with the car.
if your remote wire is working id leave it on that

wired it into the illumination i take it? lol, i've done exactly the same myself, spent 4 hours rewiring a mondeo to have that happen!

but mines wired into my switched live as i dont have a remote out on my HU

iv finnaly done it, i found out after trying all the wires that it was the fatter grey one in the bottom corner that i had to wire the remote into to get it to work when the ignition is on :) Thanks for trying though people.
