a Buyers position in a large sport retail company... thats pretty much all the ad says apart from the ideal candidates requirements.. which i meet, but i think trying to convince them i am more than capable of the job will be easier said than done tbf. not many places want to give a 17yr old a £27k job lol

Youd be surprised mate, most places are looking for young people to start with good Qualifications! Quite a high pay tbf, if i was you i would be going for an apprenticeship, best thing to go for at your age!
Any work experience at all?

I worked in a Ice Hockey and Dance shop where i was the assistant manager for a year, then i was an assistant buyer for 8 months until the company i was working for folded where i was on £18k
I also plan on doing a CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) at a foundation degree level and then work my way up through the levels until i have my executive diploma. which the company i used to work for were going to pay/sponsor me through, however i will be paying for this myself now, but a requirement to get onto the course is to already have a job within the purchasing industry.
i dont think they do any apprenticeships in procurement either :n:
[edit]
i should point out i have no A levels though.. just my 10 GCSE's (4A's 3B's and 3C's) and a Btec in Aeronauticle engineering.. but i do feel i have a good business head tbh
