Had the car lowered on Friday and I'm getting a rattling noise from the front right now, which wasn't there before. It only rattles when I'm going over bumps in the road but the left side doesn't rattle. On a nice smooth road there is no noise.
Any ideas of things to try?
Thanks.

How low are you mate? Do you have a lower strut brace?
When you say rattle is it like metal rattling against metal or is it a knocking sound?

Car is down 40mm all around, with the spax psx kit, same as yours i see lol
yes it does have a lower strut brace but i can't see this being a problem because it's only rattling on the right hand side.
It's like a rattling noise, as if something is loose and moving around.

Have they not left the anti roll bar drop link loose !?

i would bet that its the nut that holds the shock in the sleeve
if you can get a set of glam plyers in between the coils of the spring and proper give it the beans!
or just take it back and actually tell them that the nut that holds the shock is slightly loose can you quickly tighten it up for me

Spax PSX? I think the problem you have is the springs - mine did this. The spring compresses over bumps and the coils touch each other making the rattle noise.
You can try a couple of cable ties around various coils of the spring, or remove them and wrap the top and bottom couple of coils in clear tubing (i.e hose pipe). Hose pipe sorted mine - doesn't look particularly good, raises the car a couple of mm but it works haha.

The guy who did it said the ball joints are worn so maybe it could be that. Didn't do it before it was lowered though?

Tried tightening that and its ok.

Yeah it's spax psx kit. If it was the spring it would happen on both sides though i'd expect. This is just happening on drivers side.

Are the springs brand new or used? If they are used you might that part of the coil/ paint has worn away and the noise has stopped - might have only happened on one of the springs though.
Try a cable tie or two on a few of the coils on the drivers side spring.

All of the kit is brand new and new droplinks went on at the same time.

Hmm, i'm 99% sure spring chatter will be your problem. If you set the front dampers to fully soft does the rattle nigh on disappear?

Not sure what you mean, wouldn't setting the dampers to soft cause the coils to hit each other more?

OMFG
i have the psx and i get the drivers side rattle/rattly squeak
i put it down to that nut as i tightened it and it went away and then came back slightly different the other day
just drivers side too

I know where you're coming from, but give it a try. If the nosie just about disappears the spring is your problem.

Can't find the spax adjuster thing now and it's dark, so will try tomorrow. Unless I can find an obvious problem then I'll just replace the ball joints and see how that goes.

just use a pair of plyers?
only need to spin the adjuster round

Yeah I will do, I'll turn them both fully left then drive and both fully right then drive. See if that makes any difference.
