Battery Light on dash?

Hi guys just coming to you for a second opinion, my battery light comes on my dash but only after 20 mins of driving or so and then if i leave the car turned off for a few hours it goes and does the same thing again. whys this happening? my first thought was the alternator but if it was that then surely it should be on all the time! Weird?

have you tried getting the battery tested mate??

Mine did and still does the same... After a new battery.. New fan belt and alternator it still does it... Must be loose wire for me lol

most likely a bad earth off the battery ;)

its a small wire that goes from altenator to battery usually the connecttor that fails
