Ahh, Thought they sounded to good to be true. Yer patches and gum is they way i wanted to go, but there very exspensive. And i went to my GP about it. and they told me they wont subsribe me unless ive been smoking for 10 years at least.

Well personally, im not like that at all.

I smoke because i enjoy it and i feel carm. I find it hard to relax and i found that smoking helps me with that.

My parents. My parents both used to smoke.

I worked with my dad, who people work also smoked.

So i was around it most of the time really, And i wanted to try it because it was around me alot. It started from there.

patches are meant to be good.... my mate used them.... she couldn't actually smoke with them on because they make you feel sick if you do.... yet again.... she still smokes so I dnt know what to suggest

I know everyone says it, but will power is the best option.... but you gotta be actually ready to quit and want to quit or it just wont happen

i used to work with 5 people who smoked doing my apprentiship, still never saw the apeal. patches are expensive, but then when you think what ull spend on fags over the years

Alot harder than you think :n:, but you can do it on just will power, it is tempting when every one around you smokes, but if your serious about quitting then find it in you to just say no.

tbh alot of people i know that smoke (who are also 17), started to look cool. cause smoking is what older people do. i know 16 and 17 year olds that started smoking to make themselves look more grown up.

i also can imagine how working in a smoking environment leads you to smoking....like a builder, or a stressful job where all your colleagues go out on fag breaks and you just sit in the office.

also my mates say its a good way of meeting birds as you go stand outside clubs and can start chatting to birds easily :y:

i think its definitly down to will power.

i smoke sometimes socially to pull lasses, cos its easy to approach them to ask for a lighter etc.

but i can smoke all night, and i dont touch the stuff in the day. so its definitly just down to willpower, if you want to quit enough you will.:boxing:

i realised how much i was spending on cigs a week.

30 a day-£8 ish

thats approx £240 a month

6 months nearly and that a throttle body set up.
i like to put it in car terms, it makes more sense

i dont see how it will either....hence why i dont smoke.

but....if you do smoke you go out the front of clubs/bars etc to smoke and can start chatting to girls easier than if you are in the club/bar

id reconmentd it a lot.

its trying to break the habit of smoking and not so much the nicotine intake.


i got one of them in the starter pack with 6 cartridges (£6 i think it was) and quit from ther on.

plus you can still go out with your mates at the pub for a 'smoke'
