sidelight symbol on dash

Is there a light that comes on on the dash board below the dials which shows that your sidelights are on?

i would imagine it would be to the left of the dipped beam symbol.

Good question. I've often wondered this myself. I can see there is one there but it never illuminates on mine

Probably you have just blow bulb really easy to change on a MK1:y:

no theres no sidelight indicator just the dials lighting up is all you get. main beam is the blue light and the dipped beam is the green one

i was just going to say that, otherwise mine and my girlfriends saxos have got bulbs in the dash gone!! lol

lol. it wasn't until i changed saxos i reaqlised there was a light for the headlights lol
