helppp!!! wep code

just got the wireless adaptor thing for my xbox. just asked my dad for the wep code to set it up and he doesnt know what it is!! how can i find out??

Go into your wireless settings? on the inter-net. If not id cry.

if you type your IP code on the web addy bar the router settings come up, should be on there i think

basically as someone else said you should just type your IP code in to your internet browser address bar and a settings page for your router should come up, it should be somewhere in the security settings i would bet

Put 192.168.0.1 into a browser and see if you can change the wep key from the settings. If not, hard reset it using the reset button on the router and start from scratch.

what router have u got 1st, i know netgear is 192.168.0.1 and the standered user name and password is username admin and password= password then go on wireless setings on the left then scrol to the bottim of the page and your wep key should be there, but if ure not with netgear im not sure lol
