Yea all the pay rises got frozen this year, but the CWU are fighting for the workers payrise to go ahead and cancle the fat cats bonus's
So here is hoping bud :y:We got taken over from BT back in november 07 and didn't get our payrises in April 08, that didn't bother me as my contract went up by £1500.
We then kept an eye on BT shares at begining of this year when they were at 256 and watched them drop to 75 and knew straight away that we wouldn't get our payrise this year. But whats pissed us off the most, BT have just invested over 1mill into our company and claim that we are up on our profits and then tell us no payrises untill at least March next year.
Its a piss take, cause we are a leading support company and BT are slowly turning us into a call center. I would look for another job, but at the moment we currently have job security, but for how long we don't know.
Yeah sort of mate , trackdays , bikes etc etc . Was at Cadwell Park yesterday for them .

Think I know of st andrews, The priory are probably the more famous group in the UK, due to the way they run/media surrounding them. I know cygnet are also a fairly substancial group.
Some of the time it is sad working in the hospitals, seeing for example some really cool people/attractive girls etc... who are just going to be stuck living in some cases on heavy doeses of medication for a long period of time.

Ye cygnet are pretty large in terms of healthcare. It is a sad job at times, mate of mine works with the adolescent services, looking after teenagers etc and i know thats really rough, lasses and lads that are pretty young and had nothing but abuse in there life from those who should have protected them. But some of the guys i work with are completley crazy, but in a beautiful way. Laughing at what they see and happy in there own worlds. Wierd world we live in isnt it?

Yep, its when you also see the state of some people from say drug abuse, zombies. But they are people from afluent back grounds, were intellingent people, and are not shy in looks either, people whose lifes were really good, but are now totally fucked. I guess its also how you percieve being happy, some of them will allways be happy souls but a doctor will still determine them a danger to society.
Upmost respect though, I know how hard it can be working in that sector.

Ye very true, if theres one thing that makes my life harder its doctors. Its amazing isnt it, i watch friends smoking away with the old "its only a bit of fun" sentenced closey followed, knowing that in a few years it could be them! Infact it could be anyone, Wife leaves you, become low in mood and as a results miss work a few times and loose your job. Mental breakdown and deppression follows and BAM, your entire life is turned upside down.
Cheers Ryan:), nice to hear that sometimes.
