Laptop to tv

i have connected my laptop to tv. Its all working great but i only have a 23" tv and its quite small to see while im in bed. Is there anyway of zooming in or making everything bigger.

While surfing the web its fine because i can just zoom in by pressing ctrl and scrolling with the mouse but you cant do that on the normal windows screen.

I have the same problem. I set windows appearance to extra large, IE text to LARGE and use the windows maginifer found in START | PROGRAMS | ACCESSORIES | ACCESSIBILITY

Hmmm you could try changing resolution but you would lose picture quality.
