What would you rather have? I've noticed a lot of people buying c2's, i personaly think they look horrible! What do people think or would rather have. My mates got a C2 with a flappy paddle gear box, n he gets ripped for it all the time.

I've driven both. A C2 is a more relaxed, easier drive, but a Saxo is just more Fun.

ill never get shut of my saxo but i am thinking about getting a c2 vts hdi for my second car as a daily run about

saxo over a c2 for looks and performance anyday of the week.

However the c2 is insurance friendly, and costs marginally less to run

id consider a c2 vts hdi, then get it mapped , good mpg cheap to run ect ect

Id have the C2, basically because its newer and safer?

Its just the grills im not keen on.

ne_jam
24th May 2009, 19:44
agreed on the grills although the Gt has a smart grill

C2 is the better car becuase its newer but its FUCKING UGLY! :)

Newer is better WTF?

Personally I think they can be done to look nice.
Standard Saxo's look pish IMO. Could live in the arches. Not that many C2's which are modified on the road.

I saw this today at Modified nationals. I think it looks very nice.

Rob-6

lukowski14
24th May 2009, 21:20
a phase two saxo easily looks better than a C2 imo - but i don't like mark ones much, so i'd say a C2 over one of them

i voted saxo anyway

I don't think the styling is bad, quite the opposite and tbh 90% off people in this thread haven't driven or probably even sat in a C2, i'd rather have my c2 than a vtr. They are a bit tall i guess, but better built and the GT is a gazillion times better than my old 1.1, i'd never go back to a saxo.

I've started to take a liking to the C2's, but still prefer VTR's :)

i like them both, but the saxo more. post this on a c2 forum and see what response you get

c2s are growing on me, but like i said in the other thread they seem too underpowered in standard form when you consider they carry on from the saxo. but if you want more luxurys, being safer and a nicer drive and more room and dont mind it being slower then id go for one as i think they are a nice modern looking car.

but i was playing with the c2 vts whos was featured in french performance car mag in my saxo yesterday, his has had engine work all done cammed and suspension etc...that went quite well and was fairly even with my vts thats also had some engine mods and cammed so thats just an idea for you what you can do to one.

my driving instructor has a c2 and i have a saxo. i find the dash in the c2 really high but in all fairness they are so easy to drive! they look f**k igly but i seen some at the jim clark rally that did look the nuts, oh there was a smart looking saxo too so saxo all the way!

love the saxo.................now its only taken me 2years(had the car for 3 1/2) to really start liking it!!!

but i like the c2 vtr/s and although stats wise the saxo's are slightly better in some things i would get one :)

I wouldn't mind a loeb edition but certainly wouldn't replace my saxo vts with it, would be a pretty good upgrade from a vtr but still i dont think it would be as fun.
