1-0. Burnley vs Tottenham should be good next season.

Unless I've missed something (possibly crowd trouble?) but does that mean Liverpool vs Arsenal will be another 8 goal epic?

brilliant wanted them to win, another lancashire side in the premiership, tiny little county like that and we have more in the top flight than london haha

Owen Coyle has a good team there and has done well since he came down from St Johnstone but i do see him going to Celtic since Gordon Strachan quit

Quite wanted United to win, as they're kind of local. But glad to see Burnley up there! United have had their fair share of chances! :y: :P

united are so bad in the play offs its untrue. great day out and a great venue, burnley will get destroyed in the premiership. not saying united wouldnt but they will be straight back down

I think the worst or most unlucky team in the playoffs are preston, how many times have they got there and gone out now? feel bad for them!

In order for Burnley to even stand a chance in the Premiership they need to make a lot of changes to the team, as in get most of the current players out as they're either to old or not fast/strong enough for top flight football.

I always saw Burnley as similar to Stoke. 2 years ago, tough as hell to beat and also quite physical on the pitch. Stoke hardly signed anybody and did OK.

stoke had quite a youthful side though didn't they?
Burnley don't tbh at the moment, but yes they are pretty physical.

 making a bet is rare as fcuk for me. But I said to my mate on the phone that it would be 2-1 Burnley and Beattie to score first. I did the slip wrong so had that and a burnley win

Still cant believe Burnley are in the premiership. I used to remember burnley playing against Stockport County in the old 3rd tier of english football. Chanting "chimmney chimmney chim chim cha wooo we hate the bastards in claret and blue."
