Mechanic anyone? Gear linage

There is a Polo on ebay Im interested in. Only problem is the gear linkage broke and they only could get hold of a 4 speed gear linkage quickly so stuck that. Any idea how much you'd pay for a 5 speed one at a scrap yard and then to take to a mechanic to get fitted? It is a 1997 1.4.

Best to go to the scrappie and ask them, all are different prices in different area's

As for the fitting, either go around a few of your local garages and ask or ask in your regional section
