Hi guys

Been posting a few threads over the past few weeks asking sax-p members what they thought of a few car's that im thinking of buying!!

Narrowed it down to a Ford Fiesta Zetec S due to them being cheap and alot more reliable than a saxo!!

Example A)

But ive been looking at :-

Example B) http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr76/wilksey08_bucket/1037030-3.jpg

Example C) http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr76/wilksey08_bucket/991083-4.jpg

Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8 Turbo

Im 19 (20 in July which is when ill be buying new car) with 2 years no claims and 2 and a half years driving...

The quote for the Fiesta is £900 third party for the year (cheapish!!)

and the Cupra

£1600 again third party.....

Im not one of these lads who likes football and im not very sporty so my passion is cars and willing to spend a fair bit on insurance...

Am I mad? Or is there anyone else out there that is willing to pay this much?

How much are people paying for there insurance and how much does it equall out to be per month?

Have about 1000 in my bank per month 250 - 300 out going not inc insurance

Or...

Is it pretty cheap for the performance im going to be getting and fair reliability?

A tuned Cupra will be giving out as near as makes no difference 200 + BHP

Do you like the car?

There is a member on here (exuse my ignorance as I dont know his name) that has one of these cars so I'd like some feedback on what its like to drive if possible)

Please help me out here guy's

:D

or shall I stick to the fiesta or an equally 1.6 hot hatch....

(The VTR needs to go as theres to many problems)

PLease discuss about the car and my insurance and if you think I should do other wise.......

:D

What do you want the most?

If you can afford the insurance i'd get the cupra.
As youle get the fiesta and wish you had a bigger engine and got the cupra.

The Cupra is a fantastic car, really good value for money and very well built, but don't expect it to be that rapid until you get it remapped

Mate of mine also has one and he's only just turned 19, his insurance is about £1000, I'm now 23 and my insurance is £600

This is mine -
