Track Car?

I may be able to have my sisters old Vauxhall Tigra 1.6 16v for free, abit of body rust, nothing major, and was thinking i may make it into a track car rather than sell it on for her.. what do you guys think? potential?

Thinking stripped out, one bucket, custom cage, no dash, decent suspension and exhaust, and maybe potential to put a 2.0 redtop engine in?

Plus with the vauxhall engines been so cheap for redtops and such, potential is there, all suspension is from a corsa B, so plenty of parts..

if its free, rape it have fun and then not get stressed if you bend it.

Good thing about them is that alot of bits are interchangeable so you can get some big cavy brakes and use ebay for bargains

If you do have it, redtop straight away, the stock engine is dire.

The one at York Raceway on the weekend was rapid! 2.0 redtop and a huuuge turbo, it was well quick down the straight. Dynamite Motorsport I think the team was called.
