Just wanted to share my experience really guys! Recently booked my VTR in for a Milltek catback system, booked in next morning, parts in stock, all good to go! Nice and happy with the car, mechanic explaining everything to me, and as the car was new to me, suggested a few niggling bits that need sorting.

When I was paying, asked for a quote for these bits to be done, cat replaced, and new springs and shocks. Took down all the details, and said he would give me a call back later on in the day for a quote. A week has now passed, I've phoned up 3 more times for someone to take down my details and say someone will call back, and as of yet, I've heard nothing!

Leads me to the questions... Does this company actually want to make money? And is there another Citroen specialist in Nottinghamshire...

Nogs.

I've got a slight leak out of rocker gasket, handbrake needs tightening, steering wheel needs aligning, need either cat or decat and downpipe, and springs and shocks fitting... I'm just thinking now if it's easier to order the bits myself and find someone to fit them...

They are all very minor jobs.
There are alot of guides on here about doing things like that espically the exhaust and with oil leak that is easy get a new gasket and replace it urself will take about 10mins and for the steering wheel it could mean your traking is out you could take that to a kwik fit or just a local garage as they wont charge over the moon unlike cituing

Last time I fitted an induction kit to a car, I set fire to it... :)

Yes they may want your business but business's can't always respond quickly.
I know from my own experience that I can get 5-6 days behind on emails due to sheer volume of enquiries. Theres only a finite amount of time in the day (though my girlfriend tells me off for doing 16hour days :P)

I would give them a call and remind them you want a quote!

I've called them twice today now... And my cars developed a rattle at tickover around where the downpipe meets my new exhaust.. :(

To be honest most tyre and exhaust centres will be able to do that work for ya
