i've got a late mk1 style grille which is in primer if your interested (local too ;)), or you could get one from a scrappy's and hope its in good nick. either that or ebay, also look in the "for sale" section :y:
there are two mk1 grilles i think
the early mark 1 grille

and the late mark 1

the late mark 1 grille can be meshed a lot easier since the black/chevron part acutally comes away from the main grille

im guessing you've got the early version of the grille cus i have the late type and you can just screw off the black plastic part then glue in some mesh simple

yea just use a steak knife or something sharp lol i dunno if you can fit an angle grinder or a jigsaw in there then you'll have to use fibre glass and filler then respray the grill shouldn't be to hard

The easiest way to cut through the plastic is with a Dremel.
