hello, just out of interest i was down the scrapyard earlier and i found a peugeot 406 coupe, with the calipers and brakes all in good nick, just wondering if these would fit on a saxo and if it would be a worthy upgrade, the breaks look pretty big, i think its the 1.8 one as the engine bay looked like this....

so im just wondering what size the brakes are on this, and if this set up would fit on a saxo? and also if i could use the master cylinder?

brembos or normal calipers?
Brembos are on the 3litre V6 arent they? If they are then yes get them!
Also danny have you a grill for a MK1...

I tried some against a spare saxo strut and they were out, youd need a +ve offset disc to have fitted them. Not to say other versions wont fit though.

The V6 ones fit the AX fine so they will fit a Saxo too. Plenty of people on this forum have used them on there Saxos already. If you do a search you will see a few of there posts. There a good brake caliper. As well as having far more stopping power they also weigh a lot less than the stock brakes. They are big though so you have to have something like 15” comp 2's to clear them. Some people use spacers on stock wheels to clear them but I would not recommend this.
