prob a thick question but what are stretched tyres and are they any better than normal ones? never known?
little bit of an open question mate.

There not actually a specific type of tyre. Its when a thinner tyre is stretched across a wider wheel

its totally a show off kinda thing there not as safe as normal tires but they wont do anything any dif if u no wat i mean there just stretched more over the larger wheel wouldnt advise doin 120 mph with them tho

They're not a show off thing.
It's done so you can have wider wheels, whilst keeping the tyre tread inside the arch, keeping it legal.

are they as safe as normal tyres?, ive heard lots of people of forums warning folk about them.

i think they can be a little dangerous if over done and ur driving into huge pot holes, as theres no movment in the side wall ud probaly find the car slides more as theres no tire to roll if you see what i mean?

ok so what are the tyres with the sidewall that comes over the arch kinda the opposite so you dont kerb your rims?

Could you stretch a tyre over the vtr rims??? Has anyone done it ?

Stretch is basically tyres that arent the correct fitment for the rim, purely for euro look and sometimes very hard to get the tyre on, has to be kind of exploded onto the rim
Vtr rims you probablies could stretch tyres onto, could look quit good actually, as long as there is a groove for where the tyres ring sits onto it will be fine
