Isn'te it great.

I love it, 1st is a good gear to get started with but 2nd is where the power is!!!

Old BMWubbleyou at the lights, revving to fuck, RACE ON, 1st gear, level pegging, take mine in to second and just floor it, go like the clappers and bythe time i hit 5000 revs and in to 3rd, i can see his lights in my rear quarter windows, i keep going he withers or slows down or i dunno, but i pull in to the first lane and congratulate my beast!!!

later on up the PRIVATE DUAL CARRIAGE WAY, dong 70 he speeds past like a flash, but the battle was already won and lost!

2nd gear is great!!!!

i beat a scooby doo today at the light but i think its coz the tosser was in the wrong lane and needed top be in mine so slowed down to tuck in wins a win eh oz!

i didn't once say i raced, i simply got up to the legal speed limit first. I do not condone racing, and did not have my illegal neons on. They are just for off road, and private areas.

If it had have been a legal highway, i would have been in my rights to go over the speed limit, which i did not.

i was not saying lets all race and go one hundred miles an hour through a city centre i was simly stating the acceleration of a saxo VTR in 2nd gear is immense!!!!

First to speed limit?? 500 revs in 2nd - at least 45/50 and into 3rd - 60, and then you keep on going.

Sorry but other people have come on this site saying about racing, and they get slated. but a mod does it and everyones saying well done

who has said well done? Most seem to be discussing the 2nd gear acceleration thing.

Racing on the roads is for gimps and i would love to get JT in a gimp suit. He makes me warm inside.

Yes mate you're right, i do fully understand what you're saying. I shouldn't have raced in any shape or form, i do think that people who go mental on the roads are twats.

You know what this thread is really about, and i'm loving the appreciation for such a lovely gear, one that brings such happiness, and smiles to our faces!!!
