new brakes

this is my first time replacing brakes. just wondering where can you get the disc torx bolts from? mine are rounded.
and do new discs need cleaning with brake cleaner before first use?

also just wondering, to retract the piston, do you need to release the brake fluid resevour cap?

Can probabaly get the torx from citroen, or off a car from the scrappy for free.

No brake cleaner on the discs for first use, however you can do if you want, i normally do anyway, just in case any oil got onto them.

Dont have to bother with the res cap either, just push the pistons back into their bores. Ideally bleed your system too.

New discs and pads will take a bit of wearing in, so dont expect amazing performance to start off with.
