Yes it is a good mod pal, just fitted a Compbrake to mine and the gear change is far smoother and tighter. Well worth the money and a dead easy job :)
They dont make the B+M quickshift anymore but if you can get hold of it seems to be the best.

Yea i think the B+M can go for a score on ebay but if anyone knows diff then please correct me?
The Compbrake is the one to go for cost about £50 from Kam, fitting it like I said is easy but can involve a bit of fucking about. The Griffiths Engineering quickshift, its cheaper but you need to get under the car to fit it.

the compbrakes are dead easy to fit. There are instructions on the website if you want to have a read before you commit to purchasing one

I fitted a GE quickshift yesterday and the difference is very good. Got mine for £10 delivered from the for sale section, but they are about £20 delivered straight from GE. Well worth the money and it's easy to fit too.

Was it a mesh on fitting it ? or was it straight forward. thinking about getting the same one as money is abit tight

Easy to fit, just use a spanner to lever the gearlinkage off, put the quickshift in place, tighten it up then push the gearlinkage back on. 10 minute job max. Most people do it from underneath but it's easy to do it from the top if you take the air box off (just untighten the 2 jubilee clips)
