Hi, I've been trying to budge my very seized torsion bars with a mate of mine for 3 days now and they have not budged a single milimeter. Have tried to socket method, slide hammer method and the trusty sledge hammer but nothing will budge!
Has anybody got any tips for removal or would anybody know someone in the North East / Middlesbrough area that would be able to do it for me?
We've just bout lost heart in attempting it now!!!
Cheers

Loads of places around you mate. You could try Manic Motors (an affliate on here) or several members, such as Williams-VTS do it IIRC.
Try posting in your regional section :y:
Tried combination of trying to pull it one side and hammer out the other side?
Heat the end up and let them cool and few times(careful nothing is touching the arm that will damage)?
Air chisel with a socket on the end is best! :p

heating and cooling will just harden the metal.
