thing is at home i have a 17crt and its only like 15.4" visable and thats all right for my room. I recken the widescreen would look the don but i cant make my mind up

i used to have a 17"crt monitor then last year got a 19" tft... it makes all the difference i tell you

It depends what you're using it for.... but i'd go for a 17" - or you could buy both that's also fun.
Don't trust me though i'm good at spending other people's money!
