Heyy guys i really need to get the overspray off my bumper and arches, its starting to depress me. Its not a load but its a good bit, its primer (dont ask how haa) so i got all grey bits everywhere over my panels.

I heared either t-cut, clay it, turps or wet & dry then polish.
I dont know which route to use out of the 4, i got them all apart from clay so its gonna be 1 of the 3.
Which would you lot advice to use.

Thanks in advance.

try some detailing clay as that was what they were originally created for :) failing that some medium cut compound or polish will do the trick.

I was taking some over spray off my mate's car yesterday. The clay didn't look like it was working well but I tried some Auto Glym super resin and that took about 95% of the over spray off so worth trying.

I wouldn't use thinners/turps. You'll damage the laquer/clearcoat and if you ever need to get your car machine polished it will make it harder and more risk of burning the paint.

I once used a tiny bit of petrol on a damp cloth to get paint off my brothers car. It worked well but i wouldn't like to recommend it to anyone else for obvious reasons.

I don't really like recommending TCUT either tbh, but i suppose it might be the best way.

I'd try other methods such as clay barring / good washes etc first.
