Bloody TAX

Ok so my tax isnt due till the end of the month and with there being loads of bank hols and what not though it best to go in to the post office early to get it out the way. the sad low lifes in there have nothing better to do then refuse to give a tax disc...i had the money the slip i was sent mot cert and my amendment certificate coz i was insured on my si for a few months at the start of my insurance year anyway she said i needed the actual certificate of insurance bearing in mind it has less details on it then the amendment certificate and i wouldnt have the amendment certificate if i didnt have the actual certificate ....grrr they get on my tits. so i thought ill try the new on-line application that doesnt work for me either rubbish!! ok rant over sorry

Yeah simlar thing happened to me, i had all my documents but i took my insurace cover policy thing, whish said i was insured but it was not the certificate so i had to go and get it, bastards!

yeah how can you do it over the net without anyone seeing anything but when you show them in the post office they always need to see something else!!

the dvla has all the info like car insurance, tax, and mot, so they kno if you have them or not, that's why they don't have to see anything

they have clamped down on it now, cant even have a photocopy of it, good in a way tho

DVLA only has Car TAX & MOT details , they do not keep insurance details (this is how it works i think), thats the reason why it cant be done online.

Its a real pain in the ass going to the post office, (you have to queue up for an hour and they tell you youve got the wrongs docs so you have to do it all again)
