someone partly threw up in my car last night, was gutted at the time, this morning got the vanish carpet stain removal on it which has done the job, but the smell still lingers :( and its rank

ive got a new air freshner in there and i keep spraying it with oust odour eliminator but it comes back after a few hours :boxing:. anyone had this prob before? thanks

auto glym do an odour remover spray, i would try that and then get a good old magic tree air freshener

clean em properly and use febreeze, still not a 100% fix tho, lets face it, sicks sick :(

Clean it properly then leave some coal (yes the black stuff used in BBQ) in the car overnight.

taking the carpet out isnt really an option, i just dont have the time. gonna get someone to wet vac it tomorow, t give it a proper clean. if not where could i get it steam cleaned?

When i spilt A LOT of milk, which im sure is just as bad if not worse then sick.

I lifted up the carpet cleaned underneath with concentrated detergent, then i dabbed it on the top of the carpet and left it to dry. I done this a couple of times then i sprinkled bicarbonate soda on the carpet at night, and then hovered it off the morning after.

This got rid of the smell:)

i feel for you mate it really is horrible!

someone else told me soda crystals and water, so gonna give that a shot. what the fuck are soda crystals and where do i get them from lol thanks for the advice, so glad it didnt get the gti interior, just got the bit of carpet next to the sill on the pass side as the cock was getting out lol

Just give the carpet and seats a good clean with some soapy water, dont soak them however or your car will be damp, hang up a couple of magic trees, but up with it for a couple of days n it will be gone eventually! you cant expect sick to bugger off in 24 hours will take about 3 days

Coal works because it absorbs odours. Same as bicarbonate soda. Dont ask me how though.

That would piss me off and make me feel sick at the same time.

Fuck trying to be nice letting people that can't handle their drink lifts home :p.

Man, they're taking the biscuit imo, got a lift home, threw up in your car, you cleaned it up, and they've made it smell disgusting for you. :n:
