Ok, so i got a canny decent looking machine polisher, and had a bash, fortunaly not messed the paint up however im trying to get rid of swirls, do i need a specific polish stuff or does any work?
How long do i stay in one area for etc?
Help me out. :y:
Also any sites that relate to that? ^

Im sure you sqwert and circle of polish onto the pad and work on a area say half the size of your bonnet, just going backwards and forwards going over it on steady speed, not full speed, and in a shaded area, not in the sun where the cars really hot.
Suppose just put a dab on polish on the pad for smaller areas and just work it until your happy mate.

What make is the polisher that you have mate?
If you check out Polished Bliss and also Detailing World they will have loads of helpul tips that should answer all your questions. Check on youtube for vids too as they can be very helpful.
Polishes Id reccommend the Menzerna polishes, also dont forget to apply sealant and wax after the polish :y:
Get some pics up of your restults too.

Not sure on make but doesnt look cheap cheap, ok im a complete noob, but what make sealant? and polish?

Its just the swirls are horrible, and the little scratches here and there. :cry:

Pretty easy to pick up? trial and error?
