Ok so bought Meguirs step1 pic below;

I got this to tidy up the paint a little, done a very good job so far! im wondering after (dont have any other Meguiars stuff atm) is it ok to AG SRP after for a shinier finish or AG gloss Finish?

Yeah, im trying to get it spotless as much as i can Ben. :y:

Just looking out for extra info, detailing world is a big site, i may have another look on their!

P.s.

Sounds like step 2 is just a polish. Probably be better off posting on DW or somewhere to make sure. If so then any polish should be ok. But you get what you pay for :p

Oh me too. ;)

Yeah well meguiars aint cheap, £8.50? and Ag Srp is like £5 so it aint cheap shit haha, but i imagine ag srp should be fine, its been raining and its beading is class! (if its called beading ) id take a couple of pics but not sure on cam setting. =/

Get this kit its only something like £20 from halfrauds but trust me you will want to eat the wax

Well in the meantime would AG SRP be ok to apply or shall i just leave it? the car itself looks very shiney, smooth. :D

if all you have is srp then you may aswell use it, although you will want a sealant/wax on top to protect ypur hard work.

So sealant wax is in ag extra gloss protection?

Sorry im new to this haha. :p (not cleaning. whats best to use etc)

iirc it will do if its what you have got, cant hurt to use it jsut read the back of the bottle, should say on there what it does.

Yeah, i just dont want to loose the shine tbh, is it ok if you use step 1 reguarly? or like once a week or fortnightly?

nah you get two good sized bits of clay and lots of anal lube and also wax it should last you a good while depending obviously how often you do it

John you've got a shine cause its a paint cleaner.

Stage 2 is a polish

Stage 3 is a wax

use your srp on it then use a wax

Hi, so..

Polish > ag srp?

Wax > ag extra gloss protection?

Sorry but i dont no what the difference between wax and polish, they seem the same to me? :oops:
