1.1 gearbox

would there be any advantage to put a pug 1,1 106 gear box on my vtr as i know of one about to come up (chriswoodwards) and gonna do clutch and lightened fly wheel are they closer range etc or would it just chew up and die in big metal chuncks

its got a similar fd to an xsi box so will be shorter

but it runs a smaller diff so may die faster

Lot quicker acceleration, knocks a bit off the top speed, but that doesn't really matter does it? lol.

The mesh would last a week and then vapourise so i'd say no point mate.

Who's told you that? It'd take a lot to smash the synchros that quick on a VTR.

indeed its not the syncros you need to worry about its the differential
