Community service - Updated

Well 2 weeks after being banned from driving I now have to start to do my community service. As this was my first offence of any kind I'm not going to be doing the usual painting fences and picking up litter work. I will be on placement in a charity shop. Now I know most of you will laugh at this but I'd rather do this than be stuck in the freezing cold doing all sorts of shite.

Plus with me not working at the moment I can do as many hours as I like so hopefully I'll have them all done in a few weeks. smileys/smiley4.gif smileys/smiley2.gif

I'm not looking forward to it though to say the least.

Its the British heart foundation in Middlesbrough, only have to do 6 hours a week minimum but if I can I'll do 5 days a week to get the hours out the way.

Also its going to be the first time I've used a bus in over 3 years. smileys/smiley3.gif

Personally i think you're very brave mate, taking a bus must be the hardest thing i'#d have to do right now. The thought of public transport turns my blood cold!!!!

No apparently I cant appeal against it. I heard that if the judge doesnt put it up for appeal or if my solicitor doesnt ask me about it I cant appeal? Is that right?

Well it wasnt that bad to be honest the boss was really nice and signed me off for doing 6 hours work when I had 2 20 minute breaks, 30 minutes for lunch and finished 45 minutes early. smileys/smiley2.gif smileys/smiley4.gif

I was just sorting the clothes out upstairs and pricing books etc so wasnt on the shop floor.
