Were you the dude I passed also (Icelandic Saxo with anthracite VTS wheels - red lip)? I passed a gold saxo anyhow, looked like yours from your avatar, your bonnet hadn't flew then though. Thats gutting to hear though buddy, onwards and upwards :y:.

Bloody hell! I knew it would be a member on here!! I drove past you mate, looked over and was like shit, not another bonnet that's gone up! You were lucky to get over on that verge and stop safely as it was a busy road!

my boot opened on the way to fcs and i nearly lost my pants out the boot!

I wonder if it's worth putting a detachable chain or strap under the bonnet so it will only lift a few inches up if it flies open. I knew this was an issue with Mk2 clio's but not with the saxo. Quite an eye opener really.

I want to know why they fly up? As even if the bonnet pull has been pulled, the bonnet will only open 2 inches no further without releasing the catch in the grill....

Design fault? Can Citroen be sued?
