hi i have looked around and carnt fined any garages who will lower my mk1 saxo torsion bars and the ones that will look quite dodgy and want quite alot of mony......

also i have found a porformance garage thats quite well known round my erea they want 260 for spring fiting and lowering torsion bars ..... is that good or bad .......... also if i want to drop it 50mm would i need new shocks or damper im a novice

thats mighty expensive IMO. if you goin as low as 50mm you will be best to get upgraded shocks. not to mention you may go through driveshafts quicker than expected cos they will sit at different angle. if your torsion bar is seized then 260 may not be such a bad price to pay. at end of day it is up to you.

Thats very expensive

To put it into perspective most people on this site that are capable of doing it (ask around locally to find people near to you) will do it 100% correctly and take good care of your car for less than £100 regardless of how much trouble certain parts might be

If you find yourself stuck and cant find anyone local im quite far away but will do it no problem if you dont mind travelling £100 for both front and rear.
