right it seems like FF and IE like eating up process memory and mae things sometimes go slow and crap. Was wondering anything else thats decent that isnt overly complicated?
opera google chrome anything else?

I noticed each update to FF takes up more memory sumtimes get upto 200mb :S:S:S
Only ones worth trying is Safari and Google thing

I use google chrome
From personal experience safari is not all that...firefox is better even on the mac

not had a problem with firefox. but its what you do.
lots of tabs, downloading loads, heavy web pages = loads of memory used.

You've got a dodgy plugin/add-on that's leaching your memory. Latest Firefox shouldn't use much memory at all.

nah ive done virus scan and spyware etc scan and nothing has come back everything is all in the clear and done in safe mode to

I'm using google chrome now....light weight, yet awesome.

I use Safari v4. Fast as fook. Never have problems with FF, IE or any others though to be fair. Super fast PC ftw!

Nothing to do with viruses or spyware, it will be an addon or plugin you have on firefox leaching your memory.
Run firefox without any addons or plugins for a few days and monitor memory usage.

I found Sarafi was shit, even on OS X.
(Arses up eBay page layouts when "selling" an item, among other sites not being viewed correctly)
After formatting FireFox goes on, standard procedure.

chrome is working brilliantly at the moment i aint having any spazzy moments like I did with IE and FF plus the process are like half of what they usually are :D
only complaint I have really is in the address box there isnt a drop down thing so getting used to that

Iv got both FF and Safari on my mac, always found Safari a lot quicker then FF, might just be due to the fact that my Mac is getting old though. As for windows Google Chrome is rather nice, always seems fast.
